310 Families,

I hope all of you are well and had a Happy Thanksgiving week.

Apologies for the lengthy email, but please read through to the bottom.

As COVID-19 cases rise again, we have been told the City of Torrance will decide on Monday in regards to the New Stay at Home Order.
Field owners have indicated that Entradero Park should be open according to being a recreational park/space for youth sports programs, but not 100% until verified with the City of Torrance. We hope nothing changes and we can continue using Entradero Park.

MOVING FORWARD,
As for DECEMBER, your tuition will be HALF the cost.
All automatic payments have been adjusted to reflect these prices. Also, our LAST DAY of practice/scrimmages etc is DEC. 20th.
(If CANCELLED due to new rules, we will REFUND you in full.)
Also to keep the boys busy, we may have optional workouts for those who are available during the break.

For those who play at Redondo Sunset (Pony 14U and down), please register!  Please go to RedondoSunset.com and click on Register on the top right corner.
As of now, Redondo Sunset is not collecting fees for registration, so make sure you reserve your spots as spaces may be limited depending on how the Redondo School Board approves the opening of the Redondo Sunset fields.

310 BASEBALL is an extension of Redondo Sunset Baseball.  I have maintained several fall baseball programs for the past 6 years (Wharf Rats, Rebels, etc); working with 8th grade and High school players in the fall and last year was the first time we brought the program down to 7th and 6th grades.
In 2021, we WILL continue 310 BASEBALL, and players in both Redondo Sunset Pony and 310 will have the chance to continue their competitive Baseball at 310. (while playing in the rec program at Redondo Sunset too).

We have also discussed with the owners of Entradero field and are holding onto our usual slots in Spring too. There are over 20 teams in line trying to access the field, and I have worked very hard over the past 4 years to secure these fields and will make sure we stay on and keep working with the boys!!!

Also to maximize usage of Entradero park, we are now allowed to move to 24+ players from our original 18.

Come December we plan on an open evaluation to continue to grow the program.

Your child is already in the program and will NOT need to evaluate for 2021.

If you wish to leave the program for 2021, please let us know by December 15th.

As the program grows, we will assess players and balance teams according to their skill and performance levels for local games and tournaments.
Players on the top tourney team will shift according to the player’s performances too, allowing the chance to always improve and advance forward.

Finally, If Redondo Sunset does not take place (field restrictions/season closed), I have discussed with Pony Baseball and IF the chance of a Pony season starts later, we will be granted and be eligible for the All-star district, region, tournaments in the summer as 310 too.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Wear a mask and let’s stay safe.
Thank you.

Chuck Ono
