Charles Ono


Charles Ono is the Co-founder and Program Director of 310 BASEBALL, bringing years of experience and leadership to the program. He has successfully guided Redondo Sunset Baseball to four World Series appearances, showcasing his ability to nurture talent and achieve remarkable results. Currently, Charles serves as the Freshman Head Coach at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, where he continues to develop young athletes both on and off the field. Additionally, as the Director of the USA/Japan Friendship Games, he creates meaningful opportunities for 19U-13U teams to engage in international baseball experiences, building connections and broadening horizons for players in Southern California and Japan.

Andy Ammentorp serves as the Director of Coaching and Operations at 310 BASEBALL, bringing extensive experience and a passion for player development to the program. As a Varsity Baseball Coach at Redondo Union High School and a seasoned coach for the USA/JAPAN Friendship Games, Andy has a proven dedication to advancing youth baseball. He specializes in nurturing competitive athletes while cultivating leadership and sportsmanship, ensuring players grow both as athletes and individuals.

Koby Gauna brings exceptional expertise and a proven track record to the 310 BASEBALL coaching staff. A 2014 Oakland Athletics draft prospect, Koby was a standout at Cal State Fullerton, earning Big West Pitcher of the Week honors and receiving back-to-back Big West Conference Honorable Mentions. He also played professionally in the Mexican Baseball League with the Monclava Acereros, further honing his skills at an elite level. Now, Koby is dedicated to shaping the next generation of athletes, working closely with high school showcase and prep teams. His focus on developing young pitchers highlights his commitment to fostering growth, building confidence, and helping players reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Jimmy Galicia

Jaime "Jimmy" Galicia


Jaime "Jimmy" Galicia brings top-tier experience and knowledge to 310 BASEBALL as a committed pitching coach. A former Loyola Marymount University standout, Jaime earned All-SCC South Division First Team, CCCBCA All-State, and ABCA Rawlings All-Region honors. At El Segundo High School, he excelled on varsity as a pitcher, outfielder, and first baseman, earning Ocean League MVP and First Team All-Area as a senior. Jaime’s professional Indy Ball background fuels his expertise, helping prepare our players for high school and college prep while focusing on skill and personal development.

Alex Yin


Alex Yin brings a unique combination of firsthand experience and specialized expertise to the 310 BASEBALL coaching team. A former varsity catcher at Redondo Union High School and player at Long Beach City College, Alex also has the distinguished honor of being a former 310 BASEBALL player who has come full circle as a coach. With a focus on catching instruction and a commitment to overall player development, Alex is dedicated to helping athletes refine their skills and fulfill their potential both on and off the field.

Roberto Bueno brings a wealth of talent and dedication to the 310 BASEBALL coaching team. A former standout at Cal State University San Bernardino, Roberto excelled in both defense and offense, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of the game. Before joining 310 BASEBALL, he refined his coaching skills at Beach City Baseball Academy, where he developed a reputation for fostering growth and success in young athletes. With a keen focus on player development, Roberto is committed to helping athletes advance their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Carlos Vega brings a dynamic blend of experience and dedication to the 310 BASEBALL coaching staff. A former standout at California Lutheran University with a successful collegiate career, Carlos also honed his skills at Mary Star of the Sea High School and Cerritos College. His coaching resume includes impactful roles at Beach City Baseball Academy and LabWork Training, where he developed a reputation for fostering growth in young athletes. Passionate about youth development, Carlos focuses on building strong fundamentals while supporting athletes' mental growth, ensuring they are equipped to excel both on and off the field.

Merrick Baldo

Merrick Baldo


Merrick Baldo brings a wealth of experience from his impressive athletic journey. Drafted in 2023 by the Washington Nationals in the 17th round (495th overall pick), Merrick currently plays for the Fredericksburg Nationals, the Single-A affiliate of the organization. A standout athlete from Loyola Marymount University (LMU) and Mira Costa High School (Class of 2019), Merrick’s career highlights include earning All-Bay League honors three times and being named a Rawlings Perfect Game Preseason All-American Honorable Mention in 2019. At LMU, he showcased his pitching prowess during his freshman year, posting a 3.71 ERA with 13 strikeouts over 17 innings. Merrick’s dedication to the game, combined with his leadership skills, makes him a valuable asset both on and off the field.
